We have a wide range of insoles and general instructions for them can be found here. Please follow the instructions and guidelines for correctly wearing your insoles.
How to Wear
1. Remove the old insoles of your footwear if they are worn out, damaged or there’s not enough space for your new insoles.
2. If your insoles can be trimmed, use a pair of scissors to cut the top of the insole to fit your footwear if necessary (use the guidelines for help).
- Tip: At first, it’s best to trim less and then trim more if necessary, just in case you accidentally trim too much off.
- Tip: You can use your shoe’s original insoles as a template.
3. Insert the insoles into your footwear, making sure that the back of the insoles fits snugly against the heel of the shoe.
- Tip: Ensure the insoles sit flat without curling or overlapping. They should align snugly against the edges of the shoe.
Tips for Wearing Insoles
- Breaking in Insoles: Your insoles may feel slightly uncomfortable at first and may need to be broken in. In this instance, start by wearing them for a few hours each day and increase usage over a week or two.
- Replace When Required: When your insoles show signs of wear, such as loss of cushioning, cracks or decreased support (usually every 6-12 months), then it’s time to replace them.
- Comfortable Socks: Wear moisture-wicking socks to reduce friction and prevent blisters.
- Caring for Your Insoles: Wash your insoles with mild soap and cold/warm water to prevent odour and bacteria build-up. Let them air dry completely before reuse.
Important: Stop the insoles if you’re experience new or worsening foot, knee or back pain, and seek to consult a podiatrist.
Insoles Size Guide
For the best fit, choose your size based on foot length (measured from the back of the heel to the front of the big toe).
Measuring Your Foot Size
- Stand with your heel against a wall.
- Place a straight edged object such as a book just where your big toe ends.
- Measure the gap between the wall and the book.
