The Kedley Hot/Cold Gel Pack provides versatile compression therapy, as it can be frozen or heated to treat a wide range of conditions.

Cold therapy can reduce swelling and inflammation by reducing blood flow to a specific area of the body. It can also relieve pain by reducing nerve sensitivity temporarily. It’s most effective during the early stages of injury treatment and recovering after exercise.

Heat therapy can relieve aches and pain in the muscles, joints and tissues by increasing blood circulation to the affected area. This can also increase muscle flexibility as reducing a build-up of lactic acid. Heat therapy can be used to treat conditions such as arthritis, deep tissue injuries, tight muscles and Alzheimer’s.

Instructions

Cold Therapy

Place the hot/cold gel pack in freezer for approximately 2 hours before use.

Heat Therapy

1. Place the hot/cold gel pack in a clean microwave at a maximum of 600W for 15-20 seconds.
2. Test the heat and repeat every 5 seconds until the desired heat.
3. Apply the pack to the affected area every 5-20 minutes or until the symptoms are alleviated.
